  • USDA & JAS certified organic, triple toxin-screened
  • First-harvest leaves, stone-ground in small batches
  • Cultivars: Okumidori, Tsuyuhikari, Saemidori, Kanayamidori
  • Smooth and mild, with a floral aroma and no bitterness

Bamboo whisk: rinse in warm water right after use, never soap, and let it air dry prongs-up. Electric whisk: rinse the head under the tap and recharge over USB-C. The sifter, spoon and tin are all dishwasher safe.

Sift ½–1 tsp into your cup. Add 2oz water at ~165°F. Whisk in a brisk W-motion until frothy. Top with hot water or steamed milk. Store sealed in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening to extend freshness.

Most orders leave our Carson, CA warehouse within one business day. No sales tax on matcha. If the kit isn't for you, email us within 30 days for a full refund, opened tin included.

Start with
everything.

Most people quit matcha because their first cup was clumpy, bitter, or made with the wrong powder. The kit removes every one of those variables: real first-harvest ceremonial matcha, and the tools to prepare it properly, on day one.

40 servings Whisk included Sifter included Refillable tin USDA organic Kagoshima, Japan

Kagoshima · First harvest

Fresh Kagoshima.

No starter-grade filler. The 40g tin in this kit is the identical USDA and JAS certified organic ceremonial matcha we sell on its own, from a single region in Kagoshima where volcanic ash from Sakurajima has fed the soil for centuries.

The leaves grow under shade for the final three weeks before harvest, which concentrates sweetness and chlorophyll. We pick only the youngest first-harvest leaves and stone-grind them in small batches, then triple toxin-screen every lot before it ships.

From sift to sip.

Every tool this takes is in the box. Nothing to buy, nothing to improvise, no guessing at ratios.

I

Sift.

Scoop a level spoon of matcha into the sifter and press it through into your cup. This is the step that decides whether you get clumps.

Uses the spoon and sifter
II

Whisk.

Pour 2 oz of water at about 165°F. Whisk briskly until the surface holds a fine, even foam.

Uses your whisk
III

Finish.

Drink it straight as usucha, top with steamed milk for a latte, or pour it over ice. Seal what's left in the tin.

What happens after the first tin

The tools last for years, so from there you only ever buy the matcha. Choose the subscribe option above and the kit ships now for $39.95, then a 40g refill arrives every 30 days at $31.95 with free shipping. Skip, push back or cancel from your account whenever you like. Prefer to decide later? Take the kit one-time and reorder on your own schedule.

My favorite matcha!

I love element Matcha! Not just for the quality and the taste of the Matcha itself, but for the fun and useful accessories both for my home use and for gift giving. There’s a cute starter pack that I’ve given away to several friends and family and they absolutely love it. 💚

FAQ

If your question isn't here, write us at hello@elementmatcha.com. Real human, usually same day.

No. The kit covers powder, measuring, sifting, and whisking. You supply a mug or cup and hot water at around 165°F. A wide cup makes the bamboo whisk easier to use, but it isn't required.
Pick the electric whisk if you want a cup in under a minute on a workday, or if you mostly drink lattes and iced matcha. Pick the 120-prong bamboo chasen if the ritual is the point and you want the traditional dense foam. Neither changes the matcha itself.
Yes. It's the same USDA and JAS certified organic ceremonial grade matcha from Kagoshima, in a 40g tin. Nothing about the kit version is downgraded.
About 40 servings, so roughly six weeks at a cup a day. Store it sealed in a cool, dark place and refrigerate after opening to keep it fresh. The tin is refillable and recyclable, so it stays in your kitchen after the first fill.
Subscribing takes $10 off the kit today. The kit ships immediately, then a 40g refill arrives every 30 days at $31.95 with free shipping — roughly the rate of a cup a day. You can skip a delivery, change the interval or cancel entirely from your account, and there's no minimum number of refills.
It's the one we send most often. Everything arrives together with a welcome brochure explaining the ritual, so the recipient can make a proper cup the morning it lands without buying anything else.
30-day money-back guarantee. Open the tin, make a few cups, decide. If it isn't for you, email us and we'll refund it.
